Great beach for families. Not to busy and lots of space to put up a tent or cover. Also very clean. Would be nice if there were some more places to eat/drink.

Beautiful Beach! Sand is nice and soft and the water is very clean! You will need a car to get here, but there are several parking spots that will cost money. You can also rent beach items. Kid friendly place as well!

The local people don't like foreigners or are hostile... the sand is so fine and sticky that it gets inside your bikini and very hot, never go barefoot. There are better beach options nearby.

During lifeguard hours you can only use a body board in the boarding zone IF you have flippers/fins so keep that in mind, seemed a bit strange to be honest. Overall it’s a beautiful beach (though not as pretty as others in Izu) but this one is seems to be meant for boarding and better waves so I’d recommend it if you’re coming to surf or swim at a beach with actual waves.
